The oftlcers for this year are Mrs. J. C. Hall, chairman; Mrs. R. E. Humphrey, vice chairman and Mrs. T. L. Boyle, secretary and treasurer. The meeting wag opened with the reading of the Club collect by Mrs. Paskwictt, a?ter which the members sang the club song. Mrs. R. E. Humphreys followed "with an excellent paper on Shakespearean stage craft, new and old. A quartette consisting of Miss Daegiing and Mesdames Gordon. Crockett and Rcnstead sang "A Mid-summer Night's Dream" very beautifully. Mrs. Frank M Long next gave short sketches of the three Shakespearean plays Midsummer Xights Dream. Cymbellne and Henry VIII, which was followed by a piano interpretation rf dances from Henry VTII, Saint Saens by Mrs. Hos-kini-on and Mrs. Myrick. A violin selection. Dances from Henry VIII. Edward German, was rendered by Mrs. C. P. McNeill. The roll call was responded to by quotations from Shakes, peare. The hostess served refreshments after the program and a most pleasant social time was enjoyed. The parent-teachers association will meet in the high school assembly this evening at 7:43 for the election of officers and the discussion of plans for the coming year. Th bride, who wore white embroidered aet and carried a bcviet of roses and lil!es-of-the-vai!ey was attended by her Mater Miss Mary Ward, whose dress was yellow-organdy and her boquet was orchid roses.
