BIY FI STATIONjTHREE HURT

General American Co. at East Chicago Donors of Home for Fire Engine. Eaat Chicago Is at last to have a tire station In which to houee the third fire engina which ag purchased by the cty several months ago. Hugo Kpstein pf the lieneral American Tank Car Corporation appeared before the

Board of Vt'srk yesterday afternoon, and offered to furnish the building if ths city will furnish the equipment. The building which Mr. Epstein offers for use is t"n one on Kuol-.d ave. at the B. & O. tracks which was f..rtr.erely occupied by the Calumet Lumber and Coal company. It. Is very favorably located between East Chicago and Indiana Harbor, making a run to either end of the city possible, and ts so located that a Are company at that point could give adequate protection to the residence section of Calumet and to the many industries at that pom. The bu:!d:nK will be remodeled by the General American ar.1

the city will be allowed to use it wi'h out charge. The Board of TVorks accepted the offer and will discuss the proposition with the Board of Safety before final action 13 taken. It 13 very probable that the offer will be accepted by the Beard of Safety until such time as the city Is able to build their proposed bungalow elation at Calumet. This building project has been delayed because of the high cost of construction and also because such addition to the cty a (Ire flghtinar force would not bring about any reduction in the fire Insurance rates. A petition for the Improvement of 14th street from Cedar to Beech and if Cedar street from 140th to 141st was taken under advisement until next week. The sale of lots bflopfrtns to the city which are located on Alexander ave. was referred to the city attorney. The Northern Indiana Gas and ESectrlc Company was given a contract for furnishing power for the Alder street rumping station.

same complaint. We suggest they try Educator Shoes. The best proof that Educators satisfy is that the same women come back and ask for another pair of Educators. Here's the reason: The Educator is shaped to fit feet naturally, with plenty of room to "let the feet grow as they should" free from corns, bunions, callouses, and in--1
