I3 for the sprinkling with Tarvla or Aspha.lt so much of the Streets hereinafter named us lies between the curbs of aaid streets and for the length of said pavements as hereinafter set forth, tow it: Hohman Street, from south line of Douglas Street to north line of Carroll Street. Stste Line Street from Flummer Avenue to Zachau Avenue. Truman Street from Calumet Avenue to 100 feet west of Hamlin Street, Ruth street from Hohman Street to State Line Street. All of said streets being wi'hin the City of Hammond. Lake County. Indiana. The cost of said sprinkling is to be assessed against the lots and lsnds abutting" on said streets as provided by an act entitled "An Act Concerning Municipal Corporations." approved March 3th. 1905, except portions of streets and avenues occupier! by any street railway compsny under franchise wi'li the Oty ff, Hammond, which said portions of streets and avenues shall be assessed against the respective railway companies In possession of streets and avenue? under such franchise. The Board of Public Works of said City has fised the 1st day of August. 1920. as a date urm which remonstrances may be filed or presenter) by persons interested In or affected by said proposed sprinkling of the streets above described and en said date at two o'clock T, 1C., said Board will meet at its office In the City Hall for the purpese of hearing and considering any remonstrances which may have peen filed or presented and for the purpose of taking final action thereon.
