The St. Tauls senior league of the St. Pauls Lutheran church will meet at 7:30 tomorrow evening at the church, for the Hay Ride prty.

The ladles' Aid society of the Fine Street Presbyterian church will meet tomorrow afternoon at the home of Mrs. Dike. 412 Hoffman street, as there Is a lot of work to be done a good attendence is desired.
The Kings Daughters of the First Christian church will meet in the church parlors tomorrow afternoon.
The fourth division of the Ladies' aid of the M. E. church will have an all day picnic tomorrow at Jackson park. They will meet at the four corners. State and Hohman streets, and take the 5:30 car.

It is "On the R.oad to 'Frisco." being the recital of the exciting incidents which attended a wager by the heroine to the effect that she could ride a motorcycle from Boston to San Francisco. Miss Jackson was formerly with Remain Fielding in pictures and played Mary Turner in "Within The Law." Gary, as leading man with the American Moving Picture company, alternated leads with J. Two girls who hail sepnt the evening at the popular hostelry waited impatiently at the curb in front of the h'-tel for the water to subside. V- Hastings, Doc Oberlln and others sat on the veranda but there was not a cavalier in the crowd. No c-ne offered to carry the girls aero.'H. After waiting for ten min.ites the girls finally lifter their skirts, fearlessly steppe'd into the water and waded acrosf. The spectators held their breaths . Later an automobile was placed into service as a ferry fr-r persons desiring to cross the 'street until the sewers had been opened up. The fiorm has flooded Homewood basements a foci deep.
