QUESTION WAS IT

IKE OR MIKE?!

"Have you noticed the wr-rried look on the face of Kd Bohling of late?" inquired one of his friends yesterday. Well, 111 tell you what it is. Ed.

you see. is perplexed. Down at Ed's house, 1063 South Hohman street, Ciey had twe canary birds. Kd called V111 Mike and Ike on account of the similarity of expression and habits, a.- it were. Friday afternoon Mrs. Kohling removed the water rup from th wicker case of one of the birds. A lairly large hole was left in the cage vhich fact the bird noted. He flew from the hole, through the open kitchen door, and into the wide, wide world. Mrs. Bohling hung the' other bird's cage beneath a tree out in the yard. The freed canary linger,., around for almost an h-ur and then set out for parts .unknown. Seems he was a magnificent t.nger and gloom hangs over the Bohling homestead. There is a chance that someone will pick him up of e-urs because when these songsters get cold or hungry they flutter to human habitations. Mrs. Bohling if offering a reward for the return of the bird." "That's too bad, but what is Ed worrying about?" "Well, y'see. hes trying t.- figure out which it was that flew away, Mike or Ike""
