EJson Taylor of Chicago visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Taylor, here yesterday. The funeral services of Gforge T?anfleld were Jield at the Christian chur n vsterday at 2 p. m. Rev Harry jramil-tr-n preached the funeral sermon. The services were in charge of Lowell lodjre of Odd Fellows, the decased being a member of the order in a lodge in Kentucky. Burial was made in the Lowell cemetery.

Hill cf Hammond visited here yesterday Luther Hill of Lawton, Okla.. visited his parents. Pr. and Mrs. J. L Hill from Friday until yesterday. He and his father left last evening for Flint, Mich, where they will purchase a machine and drive through to Lawton. The annual memorial services were, held in the Grand theater yesterday at 10:45. There was a large attendance.

It looked pood for the Uetz boys when Ihey had a lead of three runs in mx. ini.iriKS. but a few misplays in the sixth gae the Rwift team seven runs. In the.ir half they scored wo more and in the eighth inning the Betz team started

trouble. Abe Chayken. the first majj up, sent the ba.ll over the tracks for a homo run, and after that the team pepped up, and on two singles and a double by Brohl gave them two more runs.
