RAILROAD COMPANY

Because of the unauthorized walkout of a number of our yardmen, we need experienced switchmen and young men desiring to learn the work. Many good jobs are open. TKe average daily wage of our switchmen during MarcK, 1920 (the last full month preceding the strike), was $8.30; tKe largest average for any one man, $1 0.85. There was worlc for every man every day. The Labor Board at Washington is considering a demand for an increase in the rate of pay. Safety work has made switching reasonably safe for careful men. Apply: 7:00 A. M. Yardmaster's office, Columbia Avenue. - 8:00 A. M. to 5:00 P. M. Superintendent's office, Gibson.
