"The Spirit of Elkdom" and "The Way Back." films made by the Elks and displayed by them for the benefit of the disabled soldiers, sailors and marines, drew two packed houses last night at the Lyric theater in East Chicago. The films are expectionally well taken pictures and the showing met with the enthusiastic approval of all who attended either show. The Elks will show the same films at the Auditorium Theater in Indiana

E. church of Indiana Harbor will hold their regular monthly business and social meeting at the home cf Mrs. Robert McAuslan, 3711 Grapevine, st., Friday afternoon. Because of the unauthorized walkout of a number of our yardmen, we need experienced switchmen and young men desiring to learn the work. Many good jobs are open. TKe average daily wage of our switchmen during March, 1920 (the last full month preceding the strike), was $8.30; the largest average for any one man, $10.85 There was work for every man every day.
