Are Kept Hygienic and Healed DoctorsVill tell you that ordinary home antiseptics, momentarily applied, are almost entirely impotent. That is why they so often fail.

People think they are cleansing the mucous surfaces of throat and nose passages, yet infected "germ nests," colds an4 influenza are alarmingly prevalent. Health authorities say colds and influenza would rarely occur if these "germ nests',' were. kept hygienic, healed and healthful. They have long advocated antiseptic, preventive treatment. Yet a safe, efficacious treatment has hitherto seemed impossible. What "Germ Nests" Are ' VGerra nests' are tiny niches, cracks, crevices and pockets in nose and throat passages. There are thousands of them. And millions of germs lodge and breed in them. ... A single germ, lodged in such fertile soi!, often starts an infection that spreads poisonous discharges throughout the entire body. Or it may be the beginning of colds and dreaded influenza. Modern living gives little hone of

evading germs. The problem of science has been to banish many of their dangers. And now, after years of research, a remedy has been found.

How to End Them To relieve colds or stuffed -up head, use either the Men-tho-eze "Day or Night" Treatments shown at the right. To prevent colds to fortify thetiny "germ nests' against infection insert Men-tho-eze each night and morning in nostrils. Men-tho-eze is a scientific, antiseptic cream. When inserted in nostrils, it instantly turns into an all-covering, softening, healing antiseptic oil. It provides a safe antiseptic cream for constant home use. And, because it forms an oily coating over thetiny "germ nests," it holds the antiseptics in contact for hours. This accounts for its wonderful efEcacy.
