Candidate for Republican Nomination for GOVERNOR

99

REPUBLICANS: "The Folks are for Fesler

BECAUSE Fesler shows by his public speeches made during the present campaign a breadth of vision, an understanding of problems confronting the State and a constructive statesmanship that easily make him the COMMANDING FIGURE in the race for the gubernatorial nomination and justify the confident belief of his friends that when elected he will rank with the many illustrious governors the Republican Party has furnished the State. His high ideals, unimpeachable integrity and his love of state and country mark him as a typical American who will unquestionably discharge the duties of Indiana's highest office in such a manner as to measure up to the best traditions of the Hoosier Stale. FACTS ABOUT FESLER Born in 1 864 at Morgantown, Indiana, the son of Col. John R. Fesler of the 27th Indiana Volunteers. Received early educations the Franklin, Indiana, public schools and Franklin College. Worked as a laborer in the Indianapolis stock yards to obtain funds to complete his education at Indiana University. Admitted to bar and began the practice of law in 1890 as an associate of President Benjamin Harrison. Elected Clerk of Marion County in 1894. Left his office in 1898 to serve as a volunteer in the. Spanish-American War. ' Elected Trustee of Indiana University by the alumni in 1902, serving in that capacity continuously since that time, and is now President of the Board. Member of the Republican State Committee for ten years. He has served his party thirty years, givin5unselfishly of his time, energy and ability as a public speaker. Probably the most popular republican in Marion County, which he will carry by a plurality of at least 20,000 in the coming primary. If you want to make certain a Republican Victory in Indiana in November. NOMINATE FESLER. WHY? BECAUSE Fesler's life is an open book, without a single blot to mar his record or require explanation or defense. BECAUSE Fesler is an eloquent and forceful public speaker who can and will lead his Party's fight. BECAUSE fesler when elected will attempt to fasten no fad upon the people or experiment with untried theories. BECAUSE Pesler is equipped by twenty years' experience in educational work to meet the crisis now confronting our school system. His interest in educational affairs was not born of the exigencies of the campaign, but long antedated his candidacy for office. BECAUSE Fesler's views on taxation and the conduct of the State's business and institutions make a powerful appeal to all thinking people as being sane, far seeing and progressive. BECAUSE he is the candidate of no Man, Clique or Faction in the party, and when elected will bring to the office a fine intelligence, an ability of the highest order and will be bound only by the sole obligation to faithfully and honestly discharge tho duties devolving upon him to the best interests of all the people. Help the Republican Party by Voting for Fesler and Victory in the Primaries, May 4, 1920 "FESLER'S RIGHT"

you have become nervous, despondent, sick, feverish, irritable, have headache or spots appearing before the eyes, bags under the lids and lack ambition to do things.

The latest and most effective means of overcoming such trouble is, take a single Anuric (anti-uric-acid) Tablet before each meal.

Obtain Anurie at any drug store, or send ten cents to Dr. Pierce's Invalids' Hotel, Buffalo, N. Y., iot trial package. Listen to this: Owor-so. loli.
