After his marriage he resld-M on a farm for 5 years, he then moved to Ainsworth where. lie. conducted gnfral store for IS years ami in 1901 he moved 'to Hobart where he hHs resided until hi death and has Veen loinR carpenter work. Although he hns been aillnsc for some time, he has not been conflntd to his home. Besides hi. wife and daughter he i survived by Miss Helen Tjnkhart who has made her home with him for the past six or seven years, S brothers. Messrs. J..i. Hal-stt-ad. Wallace and Albert Halsteai of this place, one sister, Mrs. Ruby Rhodes of Gary, orie grand-child and numerous other relatives an.1 friends. The funeral services were hej.j this afternoon at two o'clock at the Unitarian chuioh and the Interment will be at. Crown Hill cemetery. Although the entire upper art of the building was burned, Mr. Brabbs saved ail of his furniture. A dauerhter was born Saturday to Mr. and Mrs. Oeorjre Rhodes. Mrs. Rhodes and baby are at the Mercy hospital at Gary. The Auxiliary of the Woman's, Read, in Club went to Chlcaero yesterday to hear Carmen. A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Fleck on Sunday. At the meetina of the Alumni Association held Friday evening it wis decided to Kive a part yat the Social room of the library on Wednesdav evening, Jan. Cist for the purpose of raieinic money for the medal fund. It was also decided to Rive a jaw the first part of February.
