POT KOAST Any of the cheaper cuts of beef will be. suiiable for this dish. Take piece of suet and cut in dices, brown, add two onions, sliced and let them brown. Then lift fat pieces and onion out and place the meat in the (deep) pan (if possible made of heavy iron). Brown the meat which has been rubbed with salt and slightly dredsred with flour. When It is nice and brown all over, add one diced carrot, one small bay leaf, two tablespoonf uls of lemon juice and three cups boiling water. Let the tueat simmer for three to four hours, tightly covered, until tender. Then lift out and thicken thd gravy with Cour. If you want a
