AUDITORS RECEIVE VALUATION SHEETS INTERNATIONAL NEWS SERVICE IXniAXAItUJS. Ind.. Dec. 22. County auditors today received certifications of assessment valuations found by the state board of appraisers in approximately 1200 cases, either appealed or ordered certified for review. In a majority of cases reductions were made, but in others the assessment valuations were revised upward. The largest of the upward revisions was in the case of the Inland Steel Co. of East Chicago, where the local assessment of $14,840,890 was Increased to $ 16, S 10,000.
