she had attended a dinner and theatre party last night. Following a midnight lunch she felt 111 ax.d retired to her room. She lapsed into unconsciousness and when she awoke her jewels were, gone. She gave the police the name of her escort and they found that he had checked out at his hotel and is believed to have left the city.
