McCarty of Indiana boulevard, returned to Kansas City, where he Is attending a military school. Mr. and Mrs. E. Shaffer of Atchison avenue, entertained out of town friends at their home on Monday. Mrs. Hopkins of L?P-rt avenue, was hostess to the Loyal Women Workers of the Christian church last evening. After the business transactions of the class, a very interesting program had been prepared by Chairman Mrs. Grindei. two vocal solos by Miss Espcrance S-hlechty. reading by Ruth Masterson and instrumental solos by Carl Hopkins. The program was very much enjoyed by all the ladies present, after which a luncheon consisting of mince pie and coffee was served by the hostess.
