CO-OPERATION
To our way of thinking, one of the big lessons of the war, and of the reconstruction period now upon us, is the vital importance of co-operation. What the country needs now is for everybody to get on a basis of mutual understanding. Give the other fellow credit for good intentions until he proves unworthy of that credit. Recognize that the doctrine of less work for more pay is the straight road to disaster. Let's all put our shoulders to the wheel and prove that America is too supreme in horse-sense to be spoiled by petty bickering and bargaining that we will all be ashamed to recall five years hence. This strong bank is ready to co-operate with you in any way possible.
