N discussing the Standard Oil
Company, a well-Known lawyer said: "The underlying causes cf
j; v whatever trouble this organization may have had arc io be found in its i.' efficiency and its advanced methods, which make competition difficult. As a producer and distributor of petroleum products the Standard 1, ,sOil Company leads the world' It is a matter cf pride to thoje responsible to the 4649 stockholders rhat the Standard Oil Company (Indihpa) has been tblo to so operate ils business u to insuxe a muxirrnim production of useful products at a minimum of cost, and it hns always been the policy of the Coinps.nyto sell its products to the consumer at u minimum price. During the p&j.t five years -when the Industries of the world have been uisorgtriized by war, and tfce cost of production has been increased tremendously, the Standard Oil Company (Indiana) by reason of its advanced methods has been able to keep the price of petroleum products at 6C low a point that the people of America can afford to use the output of the Company in ever increasing quantilies, while elsewhere in the world only the wealthy can enjoy the comfcits of these commodities. This condition has been brought about by largely increased facilities, and by careful conservation cf raw materials. Thus, in spite of tremendous increases in cost of crude oil and labor, the Standard Oil Company (Indiana) has been able to fulfill its obligations in a manner satisfactory and beneficial to the stockholder, the employee and the public. Happy Days FoZbty TKe Flight of the Stork SO profound is the effect which the unborn infant has" upon the mother that she mav be said to tingle to her very finger tips. The conditions cf pending motherhood, existing at they do, ever a protracted period of month, create almost a new state of being for a woman. Just as tshe prepares herself for it, go will most favorable conditions prevail when her child is born. Under alt normal internal conditions, women who use Mother' Friend need have no apprehension about the ultimate results of maternity. On the contrary, the period of duration in expectancy will be one of joyful anticipation; a looking forward to the won-. dcrful event In perfect serenity.
