The afternoon was suitably concluded with an Interesting and beautifully trained drill of which Mrs. P. L-. Davis was the captain.

STOLEN AUTO FOUND The auto stolen Sunday night from Tom Magrames in front of his candy kitchen at Seventh avenue and Broadway, Gary, Sunday night, lias been found over in Hammond, stripped of all its tires. The Gary police were notified and the car was towed back to Gary . The police have no ctr with which to work for the capture of the thieves.

SENT TO JAIL AT CROWN POINT Charged with violating the state liquor law, Wendol Hanseros, 1100 Washington street. Gary, was found guilty and fined $80.00 and costs and sentenced to sixty days in the county Jail at Crown Point hofore City Judge Dunn, yesterday. The Jail sentence was later suspended. Steve Eilts, a well known alien of Gary, was also fined $S0 and costs and a Jail sentence ef sixty days. The sentence was not suspended however, Ellis Is also under bond on a federal charge.
