YOU ARE TODAY AT THE PARTING OF THE WAY. You may be making lots of money but aren't getting anywhere unless you are saving some of it. That last raise you got isn't doing you any good if you are "SHOOT ING"itall. YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO SPECIAL RECOGNITION FROM YOUR EMPLOYER; NO SERIOUS MINDED YOUNG WOMAN OUGHT TO GIVE YOU A SECOND THOUGHT; THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE WILL MARK YOU DOWN TO BELOW PAR UNLESS YOU HAVE MORE THAN THE CLOTHES ON YOUR BACK. THE FACT THAT YOU WEAR GOOD CLOTHES DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING unless you have other EVIDENCES of prosperity. .THESE EVI DENCES ARE THE TANGIBLES SUCH AS REAL ESTATE, a bank ac count or other sensible investments.

Scores of Your Friends Are Buying Lots They are coming out into our Maywood addition and making a sane, conservative investment in the BEGINNINGS OF A HOME. They tell us frankly that they want something that will MAKE THEM SAVE; A DISTINCT FINANCIAL OBJECTIVE. They know they can get one of our lots for $25.00 down and $10 a month and that after they get it paid for they will have something worth while. They have watched the EAST SIDE GROW and they know its WONDERFUL FUTURE. AND THEIR WIVES AND SWEETHEARTS encourage them. WOMEN FOLKS INTUITIVELY SAVE FOR THE RAINY DAY. There are more family fortunes founded by females than ever owe their origin to men folks.

THINK WHAT IT MEANS. The first payment down means a real start in life. The NEXT thing you know YOUR LOT IS PAID FOR. With the lot . .CLEAR it is not hard to get a responsible contractor to build you a HOME. PAYING OFF THE MORTGAGE. Owning a Home is Like a Boost in Pay
THE DAY YOU PAY OFF THE DEBT IS THE DAY YOU GET ON YOUR FEET. From that time on your monthly payments can be diverted to other purposes. WHILE THE OTHER FELLOW IS STILL PAYING TRIBUTE TO THE LANDLORD AND GETTING WORTHLESS SLIPS OF PAPER FOR HIS MONEY, YOU ARE INDEPENDENT. Your credit with the bank and with the community is established. WHY? BECAUSE YOU ARE A PROPERTY OWNER. Your associates look up to you. YOUR FAMILY IS PROUD OF YOU. Your wife gives you the credit although nine times out of ten it belorgs to her. YOU FIND IT IS EASY TO PIIE UP ANOTHER SURPLUS. Soon an other real estate investment is absorbed without difficulty. IN TIME THEY BEGIN TO WHISPER AROUND THAT "JIM IS GETTING AHEAD IN THE WORLD."
