CONFERENCE

'GETS TOGETHER' AFTER MEETING

BARKENS GRAY HAIR

It's Grandmother's Recipe to Restore Color, Gloss and Attractiveness.

INTERNATIONAL NEWS SERVtfEl WASHlXi 1T(N, Oct. Af'.-r the Industrial Conference had been in nt'sa:on two days, Se.-rtary Lane announce! Hint hp had discovered thai a Kreat number of the conferees h.-itl never been int ro.l u.-ed to e.n h other. Ho ordered a together" rr.-tinr after the adjournment. Members of the cor.f ereru-e moved about the hall, meetr members o? other groups and getting acquainted. "Earne" baruch. one of President Wilson's closest fr;end ar.1 alvi.ers, acted am sort of host and intioduced capital to the labor and the public to both. Judge Elbert H. Gary, head of the V. S. Steel Corporation, moved around labor's side of the hail, meeting; the delegates, many of whom he knew and called by their rlr.st names. John E. Rockefeller. Jr.. did l:keOne fact brought out today is that there Is one very disgruntled faction in the conference the farming interests. They charged unfairness In the representation of the farming interests 'n the coni-renre. C. S. Barrett, of L'nlon City. Georgia representing the farmers Co-operative union, brought the matter to a head by introducing a resolution requesting the appo'ntmenjt by the president of a federal commission to formulate a national agricultural policy. In a lengthy preamble to the resolution. Barret said: "If ws are to make any real progress in thi effort to arrive at an understanding beneficial to our restless population we must be perfectly frank with cnt another. "I am but one of those who believe that the farmers have not been dealt with in a fair, open manner. They have not been treated as an Integral,

Almost evcrvone knows that Page Tea and Pulphur. rrcrerly compounded, brings back the natural color and lustre to the hair when faded, streaked or gray. Years ago the only way to get this mixture whs to make it at home, which is mussy and troublesome. Kowadays. by assinfr at any drug store for ' Wyoth's Page and Sulphur Compound." you will get a large bottle of this famous old recipe, improved by the adiii'ion of other ingredients, at a small cost. Por.'t stay gray! Try it! No one can possibly tell that you darkened your hair, as it does it so naturaly and evenly. Tou dampen a sponge or soft brush with it and draw this through y"ur hair, taking one small strand at a tune; by morning the gray hair disappears, and after another application or two, jour hair becomes beautifully dark, glossy and attractive. Dandruff Surely Destroys The Hair.

Girls if you want plenty -of thick, beautiful, glossy, silky hair, do by all means get rid of dandruff, for it will starve jour hair and ruin, it if you don't. It doesn't do much good to try to brush or wash it out- The only sure way to get rid of dandruff Is to dissolve it. then you destroy it entirely. To do this, get about four ounces of ordinary liquid arvon: apply it at night when retiring; use enough to moisten the scalp and rub it in gently with the finger tips. By morning, most if not all. of your dandruff will be gone, and three or four more applicat!ons will completely dissolve and entirely destroy every single 6-gn and trace of it. Tou will find. too. that all itching and digging of the scalp will stop, and your hair will look and feel a hundred times better. Tou can get liquid arvon at any drug store. It is inexpensive, and four ounces is all you will need, no matter how much dandruff you have. This simple remedy never fails. Adv.

indep ndent and necessary part of Industry. The attitude of the government t 'aid agrieu.ture is that of an irate parent toward a naughty, irresponsible boy. "Agriculture has been treated by the government as something that ought to be governed rigidly but never should iiaic a part in the government. "To attempt to settle the grave questions now agitating us without the assistance of the farmer is like trying to put Hamlet on tie stage with the hero left out. "I want to know why agriculture has teen given such scant notice in connection with a conference so fundamentally Important. Why were only three men as representatives of the gritest industry in the world lnvited( to participate in thesd momentous deliberations? "Is it because we have been comparatively quiescent? "Don't allow yourselves to be deluded into the false idea that agriculture cannot kick; that it will continue to be exploited and made the football of tie other great national interests. Uncle Reuben is waklng'up. "The neglect of the farmer !n connection with this conference has aroused a suspicion in many minis that organized labor and organized capital might get together on some plan f-r reducing the high cost of living and allaying unrest and that the tiller of the soil would be made pay the bill. The farmer will not make, up the deficit, he will not be the goat. "He will work with you on any constructive plan which promises adjustment of the difficulties, but you cannot pass the buck to him and you cannot make him the goat. "I want to warn organized labor and organized industry that it cannot successfully alone conduct the mighty affairs of this ntation. If the farmer is continually neglected and exploited it ia unevitable that he will revolt c "The farmer 'doesn't want special privilege. He doesn't want any wet nurse. But he does want to be reccgnlzed as a factor In the government and do his bit in time of peace as he did in war."
