4th Division Fighters Rusher: to Gary In Trucks When Strikers Defy Police and Militia. Two thousand of the most sea soned, fightingest veterans of thr United States army, a part of th; Fourth or Ivy Division which suffered a total of 14,183 casualties during the war, are reigning in Gary today. They are in command of General Leonard Wood. More federal troops reached Gary this morning following orderflashed from the War Department at Washington. Shock troops from the Sixth Division are coming from Omaha. The fighters are armed with fiel' pieces, trench mortars ,hand gren ades, machine guns and rifle ready for business.
