Dandruff Soon Ruins The Hair.

Girls if you -want plenty of thick, beautiful, glossy, ellky hair, do by all means get rid of dandruff, for it will starve your hair and ruin it if you don't. It doesn't do much food to ry to brush or wash it out. The only sure way to got rid of dandruff is to dissolve it. then you destroy it entirely. To do this, get about four ounces of ord'nary liquid arvon; apply It at night when retiring; use enough to moisten the scalp and rub It in gently with the finger tips. By morning, most If not all. of your dandruff 'will be gone, and three or four more applications will completely dissolve and entirely destroy every single sign and trace of it. Tou -will find, too. that all Ifchlrtir and dlgginr of the scalp will step, ni your hair will look and feel a hundred times better. You can get liquid arvon at any drug store. It Is Inexpensive and four ounces is ail you will need, no mattr how much dandruff you have. This simple remedy never fails. Adv.

LYME; NOT BULLIH

TTVTFRN ATIONAL NEWS SERVICE LONDON, Sept. 23. "Someone is lying and. It is not "Win. Bullitt." said the Herald, a labor paper, today in making the assertion that it is in a posi(ion authoritatively to confirm Mr. Bullitt's statements relative to conversations he claims to have held with Premier Lloyd George in Taris on Russian matters. The Hi raid brands the "Anonymous" denial of Mr. Bullitt's statements from Paris as "untrue and worthless." The paper challenges Mr. Lloyd George or his secretary. Philip Kerr, to endorse the inspired Paris message. "Will they ?ay that Mr. Bullitt's evidence is a tissue of lies?" demands the Herald. "This is no time for mincing words." Mr. Kerr was quoted as saying that it is unlikely be will issue a statement replying to Mr. Bullitt "as wo have already issued the 'tissue of lies' statement." The Exchange Telegraph quotes an anon:Tnous "high official personage" as attributing th Bullitt statement to the efforts of President "Wilson's enemies to rrove that the presiden is under Premier Lloyd George's thumb and .thereby discredit him and also defeat the league of nations.

Alkali in Soap Bad For the Hair.

Soap should be used very carefully. If you want to keep your hair looking its best. Most soaps and prepared shampoos contain too much alkali. This dries the scalp, makes the hair brittle, and ruins it. The best thing for steady use Is Mulsified cocoanut oil shampoo (which is pure and grease'.ess), and is better than anything else you can use. One or two teaspoonfuls will cleanse the hair and scalp thoroughly. Simply moisten the hair with water and rub it in. It makes an abundance of rich, creamy lather, which rinses out easily, removing every particle of dust, dirt, dandruff and excessive oil. The hair dries quickly and evenly, and It leaves the scalp eoft, and the hair fine and silky, bright, lustrous, fluffy and easy to manage. Tou can get Mulslfled cocoanut oil shampoo at any pharmacy. It's very cheap, and a few ounces will supply every member of the family for months. Adv.
