ORF Dr. Georre Orf. for many years on of tho leading physicians of Indiana Harbor and Fast ChifSKO. died this morning at his home, corner of Fir and 135th streets, Indiana Harbor, following an Illness cove rlnj a period of about two and one-ahlf years. ( Pr. Orf. then a rcnt graduate from th Indianapolis School of Medicine and Surg-ery. came to Indiana Harbor over twelve yearn KO. He made friends rapidly and from the first he took -his place, among the foremost of his profession. Five years ago he suffered a light stroke osf paralysis but wa i-ble to continue his rraetica until two ard onehalf years ago when he suffered the seeon dstroke. This incapacitated him and forced his retirement from active practice. A few days ago he suffered the third attack and this morning at 3 o'clock death followe da scries of cerebral hemorrhages. Pr. Orf was forty-four years old and leaves a wife and one son. Frank, who today receive th sympathy of the entire community. He was a prominent Shrlner and had bn active in the lodge affairs of the Clumet district. Brie ffur.eral services will he held at the family residence in Indiana Harbor after which the body mill be taken to Mr. Orf's old home at Henderson, Ky.. for burial. McKINNEY BACK ON EARTH Fergeant Iyle McK.nnev is back in Hammond after serving in th U. S army since September 6, 1917. He was one of the first five young men to be called in the draft and got overseas early in ths game. At the time of h's discharge he was sergeant-major with the 602nd Engineers, headquarters detachment. As soon as he has had time to visit around with his friends ?trfent McKinney will resume the law practice which he gave up on entering' the army.
