the foot board They went east on 10! h to Grant street and on Grant street t Twenty-fifth and then to 20o Fillmore when shortly after Dan got a call to come with his tari to Fifth avenue and Rhode Island street but instead he went to William's morgue where lay t'ecker. the murdered cashier. When soon after he met some of his partners in the crime and jokingly remarked. "We did not get any kale and I'll make some yet," and he hired out with his Hudson super six. the bandit car. to convey Mrs. Uecker and family to and from the funeral of her husband. The Trkulja brothers ran a taxi business in Gary, and Nick's garage was the clearing house for the numerous autoomoMies stolen by the gang. In addition to confessing several Chicago holdups, plans were found for the contemplated robbery of a South Side Jewelry store, where $20,000 loot was anticipated The police believe the gang will be connected with the robbery of the Hegewisch bank, a recent ll'O.nno Joliet payroll robbery and the payroll robbry of the Royal Tailoring Company three weeks ago. in which the bandits escaped after a reoler battle with the police.
