TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Notice is hereby given by the Board of Public Works of the City of East Chicago. Indiana, that it is desired and deemed necessary to make the following described improvements in the city cf East Chicago, Indiana, as authorized by Improvement Resolution No. A1S5, adopted by the Board of Public Works on the 9th day of June. 1919, for the construction of a sewer intended and adapted only for local use by the property holders whose property abuts thereon and not intended or adapted for receiving sewage from collateral drains. Said sewe to be placed in the following named streets, to-wlt: In and along Short street and Exchange avenue, more specifically described as follows: Said sewer shall be constructed of 13 inch vitrified tile pipe in Exchange avenue from a point 75 feet east of the east line of Forsythe avenue, easterly for a distance of 165 feet, from which point shall be constructed & 15 inch vitrified tile pipe sewer to the intersection of the center line of Exchange avenue and Short street, thence along Short street to and connecting with brlcit sewer now in Chicago avenue, together with manholes and sewer stubs as shown on plans. Said sewer with all appurtenances shall be constructed in accordance with the profiles, plans and detailed drawings and specifications and maps on file in the office of the Board of Public Works of said city of East Chicago. Indiana. The Board of Public Works of the city of East Chicago, Indiana, has fixed the SOth day of June. 1919. at 9 o'clock A. M.. as a date upon which remonstrances may be filed or heard, by persons interested in or affected by said described public improvement, and on said day at 9 o'clock the said Board of Public Works will meet at its office in said city for the purpose of hearing and considering any remonstrances which may have been filed or which may be presented, and will hear all per.sons Interested or whose property may be presented, and will hear all' persons Interested or whose property is affected by said proposed Improvement, ajid will decide whether the benefits that will accrue to the property abutting and adjacent to the proposed Improvements to said city will be equal to or exceed the estimated cost of the proposed improvement, as estimated by the City Civil Engineer.
