BREAKUP forgery Scheme

(INTERNATIONAL, NEWS SERVICE I CHICAGO, June 13 Breaking up of a forgery and counterfietln scheme hatched and carried out largely within the walla of Fort Leavenworth prison, is regarded as accomplished today as the result of sixteen arrests throughout the country.

The scheme involved , the printing ff sub-treasury checks, the rorjrir.jf of the name of John Skejfn AVill'.anis. controller of currency, and the cashing of the forged warrants by men released or escaped from the prison.
