Frank 1 Kvans will deliver an illustrated lecture at the Kast Chicago Masonic lodge room on Saturday evening. June 7. This subject will be the Crusades and Templar Frecmasonry. The lecture will be very important and interesting. A large attendance of the Masons is expected. On Tuesday evening, June 10. the East Chicago Odd Fellows and Rebekah lodge will hold memorial services at the lodge ha"- The meeting will open at 8 p. m. "VV. H. Jeppeson will be the master of ceremonies. Miss Josephine Mason and Mrs. V. K. Jones will have charge of the music. Rro. U. 10. Jones will offer a prayer. Pro. Rev. R. Keen Ryan of Chicago will deliver an address. Rev. Ryan is one of the best orators in the city of Chicago, and it will be a great treat to hear him. The Misses Anna Flack and her sister Miss Jos e of South Tod avenue., accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Key. their guests from San Antonio, Texas, and Mrs. Charley Smith of this city are motoring to Fort "Wayne f.or the weekend and will bring back with them on their return. Mrs. M. Flack who has been there visiting. Sunday will be Boy Scout Pay, national celebrated, and Scout Executive A. J. Sambrooke of Indiana Harbor will perform the office of placing in rank. Troop 5. affiliated with the First M. E. church of Indiana Harbor. The attendant ceremonies will be held in connection with the regular morning service conducted by the pastor. Rev. Elmer Jones.

E. church of Indiana Harbor fer a good home-made andaubstantial supper to which the public heretofore usually clamors for reservations. The menu will be selected this time and consist of -all the spring edibles and will be a most decidedly attractive offering a an inducement for an even greater patronage than heretofore. The event was arranrd at the home of .Miss Maud Stephens in Aldis ave. at a meeting held there yesterday afternoon. Division 1 of the Ladies' Aid of the irst M. E. church of Indiana Harbor will hold a bake sale at the George Downing grocery in Michigan ave. tomorrow afternoon commencing at 2 o'clock. There will be a choice line to select from and the receipts of the sale will go toward the church fund. Mr. and Mrs. James Sullivan of 4!U1 Magoun avenue are rejoicing over the arrival of a little daughter born to them a day ago. The family of children now comprise an equal division of two boys and two girls. Mrs. Isaac Mills of Drummond street has been spending much of her time lately at the bedside of .her daughter. Mrs. H. Still's mother has come from Chicago to assist in the care of the ratients and relieve to some extent the anxiety of the Mills family. The social meeting of the Calumet D. A. R. chapter will be held at the home of Mrs. George V. Lewis. 46f8 Magoun avenue. Monday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock. There will be a program rendered and a very Interesting one. Dues may be paid at this time. Every member is urgently requested to be present as this will be the last regular meeting transacting business of the year. MIfs Margaret Kyle, a teacher in the Harrison school, has gone to her home at W'alkerton, Ind.. on sick leave. Rally week services extends to this evening at the Chriatian church in Indiana Harbv with the accompanying Biblical movie films showing. There will be no service tomorrow evening. This la the last opportunity to hear Rev. Sithson who haa been conducting lectures throughout the week. Stickler, the latter was Misa Myrtle Alexander until very recently, are back from their honeymoon and are engaged in settling in their apartment in Chicago. The Reil apartment, made vacant by the Clark family who moved to Chicago, has been rented to the Harts, who move from the Fleming building across the street on North Forsythe ave.. and the J. Malarskis. conducting a store In the Fleming building, have taken the apartments vacated by the Harts. The Tri-City Club, which was in prewar days known as the Twin City Club, held a meeting at the home of Mrs. Fred Zerler in North Magoun ave. yesterday, and a very enjoyable afternoon was indulged in. Now that there are Gary ladies in the club, the necessity for the change of name was brought about. An the Twin City Club is comprised of members of East Chicago and Indiana Harbor only. John Germain, of the Harbor, is going down to Donaldson. Ind.. to spend th week-end and be accompanied there by friends. Twin City Daughters of Isabella will meet this evening in regular session in the new Odd Fellows Hall. It is deaired that there be a good attendance owing to reports of dance of recent date to be heard. Those having unreported ticket out will kindly return them at this time. There is a general invitation extended the public interested in the Welfare work of the Twin Cities, to be present this evening at th? regular monthly meeting to be held )n the Red Cross rooms and hear the splendid reports of the Welfar Minstrels, held recently. All meetings of this association are open to the public and this meeting will be specially interesting. Those who participated in making the affair so successful are earnestly requested to be present. Arriving home from the State Convention of Daughters of Liberty, held at Bluffton. Ind., where they represented the local order of Indiana Harbor, are: Mrs. H. IV. Martin, who went as state repref entatlve; Mrs. Mary E. Congdon. as Council Deputy; and Mrs. Anna Loomis, Council representative. These delegates will prepare their rerorts to be read at the next general meeting of the local organization here, Mr. and Mrs. TV. R. Diamond of Chicago ave. will be host and hostess to the Autodeal Club tomorrow evening.
