This will be the first chance Hammond folks hae had to see Thomas work In two or three ears. He is now captain of the Kalamazoo Normal College train and is the real hitter of the team. The game Friday wtM he called at 3 o'clock immediately following the speaking at the baseball park. The proceeds from this game will go to the benefit of the American I .c ft ton post in Hammond. Yesterday the four Frontenac cars each turned the two and a half mile oal in the elimination trials at better than a hundred miles an hour.
