There are. too. horses, oats and d"gs figuring prominently In the play, and Miss Normand herself performing almost unthinkable feats of daring, with the resultant hairbreadth escapes. There were sixteen members admitted to the club by ballot at this meeting. The club activities will take up early In the fall and there Is a promising year ahead. The Family Theatre of Indiana Harbor has the film production of "Mickey" today and tomorrow. Never before has there been so wonderful a picture as this one In which Mabel Normand stars. The promise of bringing this picture here, byManager Berkson, created a furore of anticipated pleasure. The larger cities have all had Mickey and enjoyed her fully. It is a life story that every one would want to remain in the inner recesses of their memory. Tomorrow is the last oportunity to view it. Matinee tomorrow and evening, also the performance this evening. Guests of Mr- and Mrs. John R. Farovid, of Aldis ave.. this week are Miss Agnes Hansen, a student at the Eureka College of Illinois, and neic to Mrs. Farovid. and Eieut. Miles B. Sanford, on furlough release from Camp Upton, who returned home from France last February and is waiting his honorable discharge. The Jazz Club has justly laid claim to the distinction of being ideal entertainers for their dance of last evening froved this much. Never better did the Sterling orchestra perform. The feature introduced as "KafCies' was quite novel and created no end of merriment, although the real identity of that person was not established. Bandmaster Sterling was accosted more than once and glibly accused of being Rafties. but the innocent saxophone player at his right. Mr. L. Booth, just looked into space and played the most melodious tunes that dancers ever heard before, possibly his Impersonation made the notes sound al! the more weird and entranced the dancers, anyway nobody would ever accuse Mr. Booth of anything but being an artist with this Instrument, so the gold pleca has to wend Itself back into the savings account from whence It came and with a promise that It may b brought into play with a latter amusement of the trio members of the club. East evening's affair was well enjoyed. The Home Economic department of the East Chicago Woman's Club held their final meeting of the year closing, at the home of Mrs. Oscar Martin in North Baring ave. last evening and elected Officers for the coming year, which opens In the fall. Miss Mary Stone sang end the presence at this meeting of Mrs. W. R. Diamond, who has been south all winter, was a pleasing addition indeed. Members from Whiting were in attendance and Mrs. Watts of this city was a guest. As a fart of the busines transacted '.t was voted that Superintendent Adley of the O. F.
