ALLIES START WORK ON AUSTRIA Delegates Will Bite Chunk Out of Decadent Monarchy for Five States.
John Edwin Nevin PARIS. May 9 The allied delegates have already begun consideration of The peace terms that will be imposed 'ipon Austria. It Is understood that fle different etates will acquire territory that was formerly within the con. fines of the old dual empire. They are Italy, Poland, Roumanla, Jugoslavia and Czeeho-Slovakla. Troublesome frontier questions are bound up In the Austrian situation, but the big four are confident that they can be quickly settled in a way satisfactory to all concerned. The Big Four have already agreed upon procedure that will be observed in drafting the terms. French dlplpmatlo delegates were assigned this morning to meet the Austrian peace delegation which was due to arrive during the day from Vienna en a special train. No arrangements were made for any special ceremony, howerer.
