Washington Park hospital where she underwent an operation for appendicitis on Tuesday evening;. She ia recovering nicely. The funeral of Wilson I-ee. , of IaPorte avenue, afire 70 years, was held on Wednesday. Services were preached at the Stowell house at 12:30 o'clock by Rev. H. P. Ivey of the M. E. church after which the cortege left for Valparaiso by auto, where interment took place. Rev. Ivey also preached a brief ceremony at the grave. Mr. and Mrs. Lee and family have lived in Whiting for the past twenty-five years. the former being employed at the Standard Oil Company, where, at his work, he was stricken with paralysis about ten weeks otro. Since that time he has been confined to his bed being in a critical condition at all times. The deceased is survived by his1 widow and five daughters, the latter beinK Mrs. Starr Stowell, Mrs. Geo. Humphreys and Miss Inei Iee of Whltin and Mrs. Florence I.ee McCouch of Windsor Park and Mrs. Carleton Osborn. who resides In Oklahoma.
