McCann. the food expert, w-ritlrtp in the New York Globe, says that the greatest virtue of JiffyJell is a a barrier to gluttony. The average person greatly overeats. One follows a big dinner with a heaty dessert, too tempting- to refuse. And that ts often the final straw. Jiffy-Jell supplies a dessert which is healthful and enticing, yet It does not tax the stomach. The body of the dessert is formed by a little grelatine. sweetened and acidulated, dissolved In a pint of w-ater. The flavor is a fruitjuice essence made fsom the fru.t itself. A few years ago a large wholesale grocery house in New York discontinued the ale of all so-called fruit flavors could not manufactured, so syn. thetlc ethers, etc., had tn be substituted. But the rrakers of Jiffy-Jell have round a way to supply these true-fruit flavors. They make them by eondensSHRINE WEEK DE LUXE THEATRE 50 to 75 Prizes Given Away at the 2, 7 and 9 o'clock shows.
