Briefly the measures defines that: "All subjects and branches taught in the elementary schools of the state of Indiana and all elementary schools maintained in connection with belevolent and correctional institutions shall be taught in the English language only," and that "All parochial and rrlvate schools and schools in the state which instruct ruplls who have not completed a course of study equivalent to that prescribed for the first eight .grades of the elementary schools of this state, shall be taught in the English language only," and that: "The German language shall not be taught in any of the elementary schools of the state."

They report that ninety-five owners of property in the vicinity of Petrolt and Mink streets where the coal company has commenced operation of its yard, are pledged to finance the fight against the company to the supreme court of the United Ftates or the League of Nations, if necessary.
