SOME DIFFERENCES ARE PROPHESIED (By ED. L. KEEN) United Press Cablegram. LONDON, Dec. 10. Americans generally are hewildered and astonished at what appears to be an indication on the part of some of the allies that they intend going far beyond some of the lim itations of President Wilson's principles whiie ignoring others. i The president expects the allies, as well as Germany, to adhere to the principles set down in his speeches with one exception, clause 2, to which the allies reserve freedom of action. Of late,! certain statements by British and j French have led observers to the gener- j ttl belief that there might be some hag-I gling at the peace table.
