Alexander Kerensky, former Russian premier, declared in an interview hero today in which ne drew a comparison' between the Russian and the German revolutions. "I believe the German revolution although started under similar conditions and with similar aims to the Russian revolution will be aide to avert Bolshevism." he said. Kerensky declared that sil ce peace has bsen made Germany has the advantage over Russia In that she is able to attend to internal reconstruction instead or defending herself against an outside foe; that she Is not compelled to fight against a powerful internal propaganda and that if starvation threatens she may cnll upon the allies for aid. Russia, he said, had nobody to aid her. "Russia has to fight an outside foe with one hand and do the best she can to build up herself with the other; the Russian army was worm-eaten with German propaganda." The former premier had aged in appearance since I aaw i June. He spoke with earnestness as he declared he believed the German revolution sincere. As a basis for this he brought out that 20 rer cent instead of 8n, the 1014 rate, of the German officers are aristocrats. "I do not desire to return to Russia as the head of the government. Pe?haps later I will go back ns a private citizen. My wife and two boys are nowheld in Moscow- and I wish to return to them."

WILL GO AS ROAD - DELEGATES President W. J. Murray of the chamber of commerce of East Chicago and Indiana Harbor has appointed Directors Jackson and Slocomb to attend the highways meeting held in Chicago next week under the Joint auspices of the National Highways Industries Association and the American Association of Slate Highway Officials. The meeting will, be held at the Congress hotel, beginning Monday and continuing for four days. The program will be devoted to the most important phases of highway development and control, both national and state, and the speakers are men of national repvitation.
