Florence, the 4 vear old daughter of 'Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Smelter. died Thursday night from influenza. She

was uek about a week before her death. Her brother Lee. who was eight years, die.l .from the same sickness last Monday. Jiesides her parents, two brothers and one sister survive. The funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Turkey Crctk Catholic church and the burial was at the Turkey Creek cemetery. The four children of Joseph Mellen, who have been seriously ill with the influenza, have all recovered and are able to be up except Tommie who is still in a serious condition. Mr. and Mrs. It. Scharabach and family visited with relatives in Chicago over Sunday. Mr. Rick and children returned yesterday from a few days' visit with relatives in the city. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Fio and family of
