T CAUSE OF KIDNEY TROUBLE

Take Salts to flush Kidneys if Back Hurts or Bladder Bothers. If you must have your meat every day. eat it. but flush tour kidneys with salts occasionally, says a noted authority who tells us that meat forms uric acid which almost paralyzes the kidneys in the their efforts to expel it from the blood. They become sluggish and weaken. then you suffer with a dull misery in the kidney region, fcharp pains in the back or sick headache, dizziness, your stomach sours, tongue is coated and when the weather is bad you have rheumatic twinges. The urine gets cloudy, full of sediment, the channels often get sore and irritated, obliging you to seek relief two or three time during the night. To neutralize these irritating acids, to cleanse the kidneys and Rush off the body's urinous waste g-n four ounces of Jad Salts from any pharmacy here; take a tablespoonf ul In a glass of water before breakfast for a few days and you kidneys will then act fine. This famous salts is made from the acid of grapes and lemon juice, combined with lithia, and has been used for generations to flush and stimulate sluggish kidneys, also to neutralize the acids in urin". so it no longer irritates, thus endirg bladder weakness. Jad Salts is inexpensive: cannot injure, and makes a delightful effervescent lithia-water drink. Adv. as well as can be expected. George Bailey was in Chicago yeestcrday. Many people have been frightened by what they have read o heard of Influenza. The more you fear the disease, the surer you are to get it. Go right about your business and forget it. As the disease is spread principally by contact thru sneering, coughing or spitting, many health aut'.orities have advised that everyone wear a gauz which is daily washed and saturated with one to five hundred solution of zinc sulphate in water, and then dried before wearing over the nose and mouth. Tou should avoid crowds, common drinking cups and public towels. Keep, your strength up by taking lots of exercise in th open air and plenty of nourishing food. If yoji have any of such symptoms as chilliness, nasal obstructions, flushed face, headache, f everishness. restlessness, weakness, or irritating cough, give up work at once and go to bed. This will save your strength to hlp overcome the disease. Fut your feet In hot water for fifteen minutes. Thoroughly loosen the bowels with some such mild and non-irritating physic as Dr. Pierce's Pleasant Pellets. Prink principally of hot lemonade and then ever up with pdenty of clothes in b-d so as to get a good sweat. When sweating is free and the fever reduced take a dose of two Anuric Tablets every four hours, followed by drinking at least a glass or two of hot. water. Anuric Tablets help quickly to relieve th soreness of th muscles rnd bones from which most patients complain and help the kidneys f.UFh out the poisons. To relieve nasal obstructions and excessive discharge from the nose, probably nothing is better than such a mild, soothing, antiseptic wash as Dr. Saga's Catarrh " Remedy. It will give great relief. Employed as a gargle, in came strength as made up fr use in the nose, and as hot as can be borne, it quickly arrests soreness- and dryness-in the throat. Influenza weakens the patients resistance to disease, so tht there is danger of bronchitis and pnumonia developing. To combat t hi stendMiey and fortify the patient's strength ingest that he keep in bed at least two days. Trobably nothing will at this stage hasten the recovery and strengthen the patient more than nn iron-tonic tablet called "Irontic" or that well known herbal tonic. Dr. Pierce s Golden Medical Discovery, which has been used by thousands in the past two generations. Adv. 53
