HOW THIS LITTLE BOY Recovered Strength After Slckneg. Garrett, Texas. "The measles left my little boy. aged nine years. In a very weak, run down condition he coughed a good deal, and as medicines did not stxm to holp him. we finally took him -ut of school, and thought he would nevor be strong ajjain. One day 1 read about the cod liver suti iron ton;c known as Vinol, and such a change as it made in my little boy it stopped his cough, he is now back in school, strong and well." Mrs. E. A. Wright. There, is nothing like Vinol to restore strength, appetite and vim to ral. skkly children. We stronsly recommend Vinol for this purpose. Joseph W. Weis, druggist; L.. Harry Weis. and N'orria Fharmoy. Vinol is sold in L:. Chicago by Schlieker's Pharmacy, and in Whiting by L. II. Mattern and druggists everywhere. P. S. For children's Kczema. Saxol Salve is guaranteed truly wonderful. Adv.

SUU'NEWS IS RECEIVED

Word was received yesterday by Food Administrator 11. G. Tarry from Dr. II. K. Karrrd. saying that the allotment "f Jugar cf two pounds per person per jimnth would be increased to three rounds per rerson rer month, with the snm; ratio for public eating pla?es. K.'Staurants that have been allowed mo pounds for each ninety meals wi'l he allowed three pounds for ninety niea's. Retailers, and proprietors of l";Wic eating places, will receive sugar ' rtificates from Indianapolis covering th; increased allotment provided for by he above notice, as rapidly as they can rrepired and placed In th mails. ' retailers shculd use caution, and

regulate their sales in such a manner that their stock of sugar will not be exhausted before the Increased allotment can be provided for by the jobbers. Mr. Parry says that tho Food Administration has now made good its promise to increase the household allowance of sugar at the earliest possible moment, that the sugar supply would justify, thus making it possible Cor tho householder to more freely use the apple, cranberry and grapefruit products, and to use the fruits canned during the summer without sugar; u-iso to do home baking. Tho rapid manufacture of the newcrop of beet sugar in the west, and the new crop of Louisiana can" sugar In the south. together with freer railway transportation conditions, and the reductions that we have made in tho eonsumption of sugar in the manufacturing trades, and the patriotic conservation in the past four months, enables the Food Administration to make this increase in the allotment of sugar. The

regulations are also revised to the ex- , tent that any person may purchase his !

whole monthly allowance at any one time jf he so desires. The gist of the new regulations as given out by Mr. Parry is as follows. The retailer, householder, and public eating place should govern themselves accordingly: 1. The allotment of sugar for each person is three pounds per month. 2. Any family may purchase its whole monthly allowance at one time from the retailer. 3. Hotels and restaurants are allowed three pounds of sugar for each ninety meals served.
