Whether or not athletic fields come under tho classification of "places of public amusement" is a question that agitated Chicago's football and semipro baseball fans yesterday with the issuance of the order by the state health commssion closing such places. It is expectod that a decision regarding football and baseball games and all other sport contests that attract crowds will be made today, for unless such action is taken and if there Is danger of contagion at outdoor amusements, thousands of Chicagoans no doubt will be endangered by participation at Saturday and Sunday athletic games. Although the Maroon-Great Lakes game at Stagg field is the only college football clash in town this week, the Chicago high school fans will he offered the biggest program of the pre--ent season, if the schedules are carried out.
