WHY HAMMOND PROPERTY IS A GOOD INVESTMENT. 1. The brightest and keenest men in the United States have invested millions upon millions in Hammond industries. They believe in Hammond and West Hammond and have put their money and brains behind the present greatness and wonderful future of Hammond and West Hammond. 2. Hammond and West Hammond have more real industries and brains behind them than any other town in the CALUMET district and yet property is now only about half the pri'-. in Hammond and Wer Hammond of what it is in the other towns in the Calumet district and hence the values arc bound to double. 3. Hammond is now going through the first stages of a boom that is sure to make real estate fortunes in the next few months. Hammond is under-subdivided. All vacant lots in well located properties will soon be picked up. 4. Hammond is the home of munition workers employed at the Standard Steel Car Co. where a HUNDRED MILLION DOLLAR Government order has been placed. Hammond is the choice as a place of residence for officers, heads of departments and foremen of East Chicago industries. 5. Hammond is more nearly in the center of the Calumet region, noted the world over for its manufactures, than any other city. It has 90.000 people within a fivecent fare limit. . Hamond has never had a real boom and hence real estate values are not inflated. It is reasonable to expect that there will be a hundred percent increase in all fairly priced and reasonably well located property in or about Hammond. 7. Hammond is the onlv citv in the iegion which has NORTH and SOUTH as well as EAST and WEST railroads. It is the greatest railroad center in the district. It is the greatest interurban center in North Township. 8. Hammond's industries are diversified. It isn't subject to the ups and downs of a city that subsists on a single industrv. Times arc never bad in Hammond. Thev are now more prosperous than they have ever been. 9. Hammond does more to encourage home owning and home building than any other city in the region. It has five building and loan associations that, help the hui'der and loans million? of dollars on easy terms payable in small installments. 10. Hammond and West Hammond have built TOO house in the present year. This is absorb vacant sites at such a rapid rate that the demand will soon far exceed the supply of vacant lots and acres. Values are increasing ts vacant lots become scarce. 11. Teople are just beginning to see that real estate is the safest, investment. It keeps the savlrrr- of the people away from Ret-rlch-quick sharks, cil promoters and thieves. Huy a little piece of bind and lay the foundation of a fortune. 12. There is mere money in the average man's pocket now than there ever has been before. Tha is why real estate is sure to go up in price. Teople will soon find out that it is the safest investment, hence, the demand ill be greater than ever. Plant $5.00 a month in Home Garden Tract and watch

your golden profits grow.
