of untold suffering during most of which time she has been a helpless Invalid.. She Is survived by her husband. Thomas Bedford, who. during his wife's long illness, has ministered un:easingly in his wife's behalf. The funeral was held on Friday afternoon, services being preached by Rev. S. C. Rogers of the M. E. church. Interment was at Oak Hill cemetery, Hammond. Mrs. Edward Lucke is seriously ill t her home, 646 119th street. Mrs. Herman Ptelnke, of 119th street has as her guest her sister. Miss Ruth Rosenbaum of Wanatah. Miss Susan Vincent has taken a clerical position at the Standard Oil Co. Mr. and Mrs. William Gainer of Chicago have visited at the home of the former's brother.
