The announcement has been made publio of the marriage of Miss Edna Traeger, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Traeger, to Sergeant W, H. Hoeckeiberg who is stationed at Wichita. Texas The ceremony was performed several months ago when Miss Traeger went down to camp to visit Mr, Hoeckeiberg. She has been employed for the, past three years at the Tittle Slarket and Grocery Store at Gary, as cashier and bookkeeper, f?he has resigned her position and leaves this week to Join her husband in Texas.

Mr. J. W. Harrington who has sold his house and lot in Joryville and moved his family the first of the week to Gary, where he has purchased a flat building. The E. J. A- E. depot which was located on South Main street, has been moved to the point of intersection o the E. J. & E. R. R. and the Nickl Plate road and after the f.rst of August the two will be consolidated. This will necessitate reducing the office forces to eight employes, at the present time IS being employed. Miss Anna Barney Is enjoying a two weks vacation and left the first part f the week for Battle Creek, Mich. Miss Rose Hartine of Valparaiso, visited with relatives here yesterday. She was raking hay for her father, when the team became frightened and ran away and was thrown under the rake and was badly cut with the teeth.
