Ferguson was governor he declared war on the state university, declaring Texas was vog 'wild over higher education." "hi3 and other moves caused the Impeachment and removal of Ferguson. Lieutenant Governor Hobby succeeded him last fall. Ferguson wants the job back and Hobby wants to keep it.
