Baston War Victim.
MINNEAPOLIS, June 13. Lieut. Albert P. Baston, who was reported wounded In the marine casualty list last night, was considered one of the six greatest football players ever developed at the University of Minnesota. He played on the Gopher eleven in 1914, 1915 and 1916, and in the latter year was captain. Tor two years in succession he was placed on an ail-American team, being the only Minnesota athlete to achieve that distinction. , I.ieut. Baston, after graduating from the university law school in June, 1917, was commissioned In the Marine Corps. After a brief period of training he went to France.
