Have just opened up this hotel and have been working on an average of seventeen hours a day gettii.g it going. Have had some very inlcrst ing experiences in th new hotel. We took over all the old staff the French that ran the hotel and I secured a fine Englishman who had been on an ocean liner. Judson Sehurtz. another former T. M. C. A. dormitory man. is now in Company D. First Buttalion. Fourth Regiment, at Camp Perry. Great Lakes Naval Training Station. Sherman P. Pollay, who made his home at the T. M. c. A. in Gary, nabeen promoted to the rank of sergeant and is row in the rO.lth Aero Squadron in the Aviation Repair Depot at Dallas. Texas. Mr. Pollay served as scoutmaster of one of G.ary's fine troop while he lived at the Y. M. C. A. 4-MIRUTE HER PICKED FOR REO GROSS DRIVE Captain Harvey Waton and his faithful squad of four-minute men to day smarted the big offensive in their part of the Red Cross campaign.
