The Working People Are For "Brad" CThe mills and factories of Lake County pay one-third of the taxes of Lake County. The fellow in these mills that works with Ins hands has earned the money to pay these taxes. Ralph Bradford has worked night and day, sometimes 12 to 14 hours a day, to give the taxpayers of Lake County an efficient treasurer's office. He has deserved the promotion he is asking on May 7th. The working people of Lake County will reward this faithful public servant.

Union Labor Satisfied With "Brad" CWhen business manager of the Lake County Times in 1906 Bradford hired union men as stereotypers, pressmen and compositors from the allied printing trades. It was under his influence that a chapel of the typographical union was started at The Times office. Four of these men Mr. Bradford hired are still on that paper and will bear out "Brad's" past record as a friend of union labor. That is why union men all over Lake County are satisfied with "Brad."

The Farmers Are For "Brad" CThere is $40,000,000.00 worth of farm land in Lake County, and the fanners pay over 11 per cent of all the taxes of the County. For the last ten years, twice a year, these farmers have been paying their taxes to Deputy Treasurer Bradford. Anyone can tell you the farmers ar back of Brad for trasurr. and solid, too. It is because Brad is the chap who is always ready to answer the thousand and ond questions the farmers are always wanting to know, about taxes, income tax, mortgage exemptions, and a dozen other things which Brad has at his fingers' ends. This service and courtesy has put 1,500 Lake County farmers back of Bradford for Treasurer.

The Real Estate Men Are For "Brad" CThere are 44,310 subdivided lots in the City of Gary, and 60,000 more in Hammond, Whiting and East Chicago. The real estatemen who handle the movement of these lots and have to ask for taxes all the time from the treasurer's office, want Ralph Bradford, for years its deputy, to get the republican nomination for treasurer. The answer is easy "Brad" gives them service. "What they want, and when they want it. Isn't that the kind of chap you want for treasurer, too ? Answer on May 7th at the republican primaries.

The Attorneys Are For "Brad" CThere are scores of attorneys in Lake Count-, who examine abstracts and who constantly want tax searches made on property they are handling for clients. Ralph Bradford, Lake County's efficient deputy treasurer, answers thousands of telephone calls a year for these lawyers about taxes. These attorneys want service, and get it. That is why they are for uBrad" on Mav 7th for treasurer.

"Why Bradford?" BECAUSE he has a clean record for hard work, courteous service and efficient management of the greatest financial concern in the county, handling over $4,000,000.00 a year. BECAUSE Iie knows every inch of real estate in Lake County and can find it in a hurry 'for the taxpayers. The Republicans Are For "Brad" CTwelve years ago as a republican editor in Hammond,, Ralph B. Bradford fought without hope of reward the battles of the republican party. He has been identified ever since with the republican organization, and no election board of canvassers the last ten years has missed Brad at the adding machine to total the vote. When the party wanted a man at the last election as sub-treasurer of the Central Committee to raise funds by popular subscription, Bradford's report filed in the clerk's office showed more collections than any other sub-treasurer in the County. That is why "Brad" has so many loyal friends among organized republicans. He asks promotion on May 7th. Boost for ''Brad."

Nominate "Brad" Next Tuesday at the Republican Primaries Good Wishes Alone Won't Do-Go to the Polls and Vote. "I THANK YOU"
