A report was circulated in Hammond yesterday, that Thomas McCarthy, a former Hammond man, had died at Pi't.-hurgh, Pa., following an iilness of pneumonia. The report has not been contirn ed. Mrs. Margaret Harrington and wife of H. E. Harrington died at the residence at 100 Doty street in Hammond this morning at 2 o'clock. The funeral will be held at the home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The remains will be shipped to the former home at Danville, Ind.. for burial. Funeral services over the remains of Barney Dolan, who was killed in a battle, with car thieves about two months ago. will be held at the Mount Olivet lemi tery in Chicago tomorrow morning at 10-2' o'clock when the body will be removed from a vault and interred in the family lot.
