After a couple of hours spent with their needle work the guests were served with refreshments. Tha next club party will b given in two weeks on Friday by Mrs. Iferg of Trice place. Thirty-five members attended the. all day session of the Baptist "Woman's I'nion yesterday at the home of Mrs. J. B. Ortt. Zlb Highland street. Following the noon-day luncheon the members spent the afternoon sewing: and knittins for the Red Cross. Mrs. "William Myers and Mrs. Dann Mann of the domestic science, section read several interesting articles on "How to Select Foods." The meeting next Thursday will be held at the home of Mrs. A. C. Berry, 193 Sibley street. The congregation Beth-Al will hold divine services this evening at eight o'clock. Dr. Rosengard will officiate.
