NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That on the 3rd day of December. 1917, the Board of Public Works adopted a Primary Assessment Roll for the improvement of Alley Twelve (12) West, Sec. I, from the South line of Fifth Avenue to the. North line of the Right of Way of the. Wabash Railroad within the City of G8ry. Lake County. Indiana, under Declaratory Resolution Number Nineteen Hundred Twenty-seven (1927) adopted on the Sth day of January, 1917. by the Board or Public Works, by the construction thereon of a pavement fifteen (15') feet in width, with a wearing surface of one of the following kinds of modern city pavements: Erlck on sand foundation: Crick or Wooden Block on concrete foundation, combined concrete and brick on sand foundation and one course concrete pavement on sard foundation fifteen (15) feet and ten (10") inches in width, and cement curbs six (6 ") inches in width. The intersecting alleys are: Alley Five (3) South and Sixth. Seventh and Eighth Avenues. The parallel streets and alleys within One Hundred Fifty (130) feet are; Fillmore and Pierce Streets. Said Assessment Roll contains the names of the owners and description of property to be assessed, with the amounts of the prima facie assessment against each lot or parcel of land subject to assessment and is on file and can be seen at the office of the Board of Public Works and the City Clerk in the City Hall, Gary.
