The New Styles In Waists for Fall COne feature of the opening of the Fall season is the showing of what might be called suit waists waists in shades to match the prevailing colors in suits; if not exactly matching -the suits the waists may be selected in attractive contrasting tones. On this account colors in Navy, Russian Green Battleship Grey, Khaki, Burgundy and Brown promise to have a good run on public favor. Waists portraying these shades, when speckled with dashes of bright trimmings, beads, or silks in embroidery, present to the eye creations of sombre loveliness that are rare indeed. Come, see, and examine the other little things about them that we have r ot space to elaborate on here.
Attractive New Fall Suits for Women C Smartly tailored suits are very much in favor by women in every walk of lile, chiefly because there is more good service in a trim tailored suit than in almost any other outer garment. (These new arrivals will appeal to women of Hammond, for their fabrics are of gooJ quality, and they are completely well tailored in the favored simple straight line effects. Belts, pockets, fur trimmings and large collars are ,very much in evidence among the more dressier suits. An early inspection is invited.
Features of the New Fall Millinery CThe styles in millinery for this season are decidedly different from these of last. In crowns alone, ideas are exceedingly varied; a'.l sorts of puffs, drapes, shirrings, indentions and ridges are present, affording a striking contrast to the comparatively simple crowns of. which we have become accustomed. All hats have unusually high crowds, the most prominent of which are the so-called "Arab Turbans" and "Bishops' Toques." These are heavily draped, for drapery as well as ribbons, wings and ornaments of various designs are extensively used in their trimming. For coverings, panne velvet in the new earth shade of gray leads with duvetyne, plain velvet and hatter's plush- in various hues a close second. The trimmings that adorn the new hats consist chieflly of feather fluffs, burnt cofue, ostrich, numidi, chenille and beaded ornaments. An Early Inspection of Them Is Invited
New Creations In Dress Accessories ("Many unique ideas have already found their way to our counters ready for your inspection. (In neckwear the heigh and closed effect seems to be favored and several pretty fancies may be seen here. (Elaborate embroideries in gloves make these interesting. Our new Hosiery lines for Fall are a choice lot. The cotton, lisle, fibre silk and pure silk hose were never better. Wide range in sizes and colors. (New trimmings, veils, veilings, handbags and leather purses are here and show many new and bold ideas. See them at the Opening.
